Innovation from PaperBoat
The new mooring booking platform PaperBoat has become the official sponsor of the technology innovation and applications area. Developed jointly with Pandora Global, this new application is integrated into the management system of marinas and yacht clubs, allowing users to reserve moorings in real time from anywhere in the world.
“Virtual Valencia Boat Show seems to us the perfect opportunity to advertise our technological solution, since the official launch of our platform will be precisely in the marinas of Valencia with a very wide range of moorings for all types of boats. Furthermore, this event has the ability to bring together ports, marinas, professionals and the end customer in one place, which is an advantage for exhibitors,” PaperBoat representatives say.
Technology for sailing life
Searching for jobs and professionals, reserving moorings, renting boats, finding anchoring points, booking experiences, monitoring the operation of a boat or discovering coastal areas is today much easier thanks to technology. And Virtual Valencia Boat Show will bring together different technological solutions for private and professional use in the same place.
The leading company in technological development Grupo Alfatec, one of the organisers of the event, will also have a stand where it will offer information on its solutions for port authorities and its services related to virtual reality, online events and 360º technology.
The innovation area will also feature Shoreview, the first visual assistant for coastal navigation with Augmented Reality. Also exhibiting will be Navily, Europe’s leading cruising guide, known as “the nautical TripAdvisor”.
The Italian portal LetyourBoat will also participate in the event, a portal specialised in charters and booking tourist boating experiences that puts shipowners and charter companies in contact with travellers for boat reservations and outings.
Another of the companies that will be presented in this area will be SailSense, an intelligent assistant that allows monitoring and controlling the systems of the boat from anywhere in the world simply with the mobile phone.
Online searching of jobs and professionals can also be solved through technology, thanks to OneSeaGate, a pioneering platform that connects companies and professionals from all areas of the nautical field.
For its part, Reinvention Instruments, a company specialised in the development, production and distribution of electronic devices and software for use in both recreational and professional navigation, will present its SV-01 device, which integrates basic high-quality navigation sensors, such as GPS, orientation or weather station with internal sensors for digital monitoring to measure battery levels, fuel, temperature, amongst others. The device is compatible with all devices and offers a free App for displaying all the information.
Finally, art lovers will be able to discover in the Gal@rte event, a new art gallery linked to sailing.
